Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Yes, like Wales posted. Look down at the bottom of this page for a link to the new shopper's section. There is also a link that has a list of companies you can start to apply with. There are 100s of companies. I suggest starting out with Marketforce as they generally have shops in all areas of the country and the reports are not too hard. It will help you get a feel for what this is all about.
No problem. I also am guessing you are referring to MSPA certification? I wouldn't worry about getting any certifications yet. Some people never get any certifications and do just fine. Spend your time getting started with the applications for MSCs and doing your first assignments.
A lot of the companies I've signed up with do not care if I have a certification or not. What they care about is if I read my overview, do what I'm supposed to during my evaluation, and submit an acceptable report. I always recommend checking out the [isecretshop.com] platform. You register for free, then you are able to view up to 20 different company's postings {after reviewing the contracts and agreeing to each of their terms}.
I have shopped with & without certification. I did "OK" without certification, but discovered when I went silver that more and better shops seemed to come my way. Coincidence? Maybe, but "if it aint broke...." It's a personal decision. I don't regret certifying
