I'm not sure what you are asking. Your post title states you were targeted for a check scam which you reported to the authorities and did not fall victim to. That's excellent. So now are you asking if there are legit companies and which ones you can trust? If so, there is a list on this website at the bottom of this page that many of us are signed up with and do shops for. None of those companies are pulling scams on shoppers.
