Introducing myself

I found and joined up for this forum bc I receive so many scam emails about mystery shopping. I have always wanted to become a mystery shopper but never trusted any of the emails but could see that this one was legitimate. Now, I just need to figure out how to go about finding legitimate jobs in my local area (Raleigh, NC). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You do not necessarily know that any email is legitimate. In fact, most emails received about mystery shopping are NOT legitimate if they come from a company or individual with whom you have not already registered and provided your contact information, SS#, etc. Ask yourself, why would a stranger solicit me to work for them when there are already so many willing workers? Never reply to one of these "blind" emails providing any personal information.

Yes, mystery shopping is legitimate, as long as you sign up only with legitimate companies. Sign up with mystery shopping companies only on their website and securely provide your personal data. Here is a list of a bunch of legitimate companies: [www.mysteryshopforum.com]
Companies that offer you money before doing a job, usually with Western union, is a scam....never cash a check promising you pay before shopping...it doesn't work that way.

Live consciously....
