Not so new shopper but new to this forum

Hi, I'm a single mom in VA and enjoy doing mystery shopping to bring in a few dollars a month. I'm trying to make around $250-500 in mystery shopping. Last month was my highest at about $400 but this month, it's been a little slim.

Wow! You should have oceans of available shops! How many MSCs are you signed up with? That could be the issue.

Wow, you are doing great with only being signed up with 10 companies! Most people on the forum say they are registered with hundreds of MSC's, including myself. I would guess I am registered with 200 and have worked for 50. Only 50 because the other 150 don't have shops in my area.

Thank you. The majority of the $400 made last month were from audits. One of them I don't want to do anymore. I'll spend some more time this evening applying for more companies.

Welcome to the forum, there are loads of information here. You can learn from the other members on almost any subject related to mystery shopping but I would recommend that you look at the bottom of the page and read the section on New Mystery Shoppers, even though you said that you are not so new to the business.

Welcome to the forums. I have been a shopper for over 17 years, some how I never bothered to search for the forums. I am new here as well (Under a year). There's loads of info on here. I do mystery shopping as a side kick job. Usually do the restaurants. I need to eat, so to me its a bigger bang for you buck. I am signed up with at least a100 MSC.

Hi, I am not so new to Mystery Shopping, but I am looking for more diversified assignments. Basically, most of my shops are in the food industry. I am also really looking for higher paying shops. After reading these other comments, I see that the key is signing up with a whole lot of companies. I will be doing that as my goal for this year. Thanks.
