Hi, Everyone smiling smiley

My name is Britney, and I started shopping VERY part time last September. About two months ago, my job disappeared (my company merged with another and my position went *poof*), so I started looking at Mystery Shopping more seriously. I'm glad I did! So far, I'm really enjoying it, and I'm making about as much as I'd be making at a part time job (just in fees and reimbursements for things I'd be purchasing anyway- plus the stuff I wouldn't have bought)... it's taken a lot of time, but that's something I've had plenty of smiling smiley Anyway, I've been doing it without knowing anyone else who Mystery Shops, so I'm glad to have found this community! My family all thinks I've gone a little crazy, but that's hardly news.

I look forward to getting to know some of you, learning from the pros and maybe helping some other newbs get started!

Welcome! Sorry to hear about your job,but sounds like you've got it all under control. Good luck with the mystery shops. Great way to pick up a little extra money and grab a few "extras" - - my favorite are the restaurant shops! I do so love to eat out.

I have done some mystery shopping in the past mainly retail and fast foods.
I would like to try it again and see where it takes me.
I would like to work my way up to some of the bigger paying assignments.

Hi Challenge,

Test the waters slowly on those, and see how you like them and how they like you.
That way you will not be out expenses unnecessarily. You will find whether you like those shops or not pretty quickly, though many times it also varies with which company you are taking those shops for, and how much they are paying.
