Hi, amber, welcome to the forum. I agree with Flash, how much it works depends on how much you put into it. You won't make a bunch of money, but you pick up a little extra money and have a good time doing it. The number of jobs available to you will pretty much depend on how many companies you sign up with. Read everything you can and check out the companies you sign up with before accepting jobs with them.
