Welcome to the forum! I would encourage you to come into this with an open mind and not eliminate opportunities without trying them. You will find that if you limit yourself to phone shops you will find that you have lots of competition for work from all over the country since it costs me no more to do a phone shop of a location 3000 miles away than it does to call a place across the street. You may find some easy $5 phone shops or what is left may be the $7 phone shop that takes an hour and a half to write up the report. On the other hand, there are bank shops and cell phone shops that have no out of pocket expense and there are reimbursement plus fee shops or even reimbursement only shops that you may find are worth your time because they can substitute for money you otherwise would have spent yourself. The vast majority of reimbursement shops I see will adequately cover the required purchases. The vast majority of companies will reimburse you up to the stated limit if you perform the shop correctly from start through report through any needed follow up.
