Hello

Hi everyone!
I've done a tiny bit of dabbling the past few months, but I was unaware then how MANY companies and shops were out there. I wondered how anyone could be successful when all I was seeing was an occasional pretzel shop, and emails saying my requested shops had been given to shoppers with history with the company already.

A few weeks ago I started researching more, and pretty much dove head in, as my school schedule this semester has left a lot of open time, but not in slots that fit into my regular profession's schedule very well. I've been doing so-so thus far. Everything's been approved, so I'm not referring to my quality of work but rather my ability to determine how much time a shop (or really the report!) will take to determine if it's a good rate. I'm guessing that's something that you become more familiar with as time goes by and you learn the company's style and the client's preferences?

I wish I'd found you guys earlier though. I've figured out a lot on my own already, but it's been a time- consuming process. I've learned so much more, so much faster, just reading here the past couple days. And the spreadsheet in the New Shoppers section is a huge help! I'd gone through so many versions of my own that always seemed to be lacking something. Seeing that one was a godsend!

Welcome and this forum is great for both the newbe and the experienced shopper. You are correct as the more shops you do the more you can determine what price makes the shop worth it. Also as you do more shops they will become easier and faster to do.
