Hello,
I'm Carol and very new to this community and have not yet been on my first shop yet. I wanted to first make sure this is legitimate and so far I'm pleasantly surprised by the posts of people who sound a lot like me who just want an opportunity to earn extra money . Looking forward to my first mystery shop. Thanks

Hi there, Carol. Welcome to the forum and mystery shopping! Keep reading the forum, then read some more. Develop your game plan for which MSCs you want to sign up with (there's a list of official MSCs at the bottom of the page); and which shops appeal to you. Mystery shopping is legitimate and very, very real.

It is for real. It is not fantastic money. It is mostly fun. The best parts are you are an Independent Contractor so you pick and choose what you are willing to do and if shopping is not convenient next week, just don't take any jobs.

Some people do it for fun and some make a good living at it. I make okay money and definitely have fun...but it's something that most of us take very seriously!
