Hello from a Mountaineer! :-)

Hi all!

Just wanted to post an official hello. I've been lurking (and liking) posts for a couple of months now, so I figured I should come out of hiding and introduce myself.

I've been mystery shopping for over 10 years, but only recently has it become a "job." I've been doing it almost exclusively since June. I'm partial to audits, but I like to wander around stores and ask questions about electronics, eat out and take cars for test drives. :-) When I'm not shopping, I am a freelance writer and jewelry designer.

I shop in the OH/WV/PA tri-state area, and that keeps me really busy. Right now I shop for roughly 20 companies, but I'm applying like a mad women to 50 more. I really think I could be one of those who turns this into a more than decent living. I'm stoked about that.

I look forward to getting to know all of you. I've learned a lot just from lurking. Hopefully I'll have something to contribute to the group too.

Shopping the Ohio Valley and all around the tri-state area (Pittsburgh, PA; Parkersburg, WV and Columbus, OH.)

Welcome to the forum! Glad that you came out of hiding smiling smiley If you have been shopping for a decade I feel sure you know what this is about, so deciding to make 'more than a decent living' at it comes from an educated perspective. Best of luck with that, we do try to cheerleader each other!
