Hi, everybody. I live in the Midwest. I retired a year ago but Social Security is not enough to live on. I've thought about mystery shopping for years, so i decided to try it. In my first 10 days, I've done three shops and have two more scheduled. All are with the same company, and I've just started to receive payment. I'm ready to branch out to more companies and try to make a go of it.

Welcome to the forum! It sounds as though you are off to a great start! To give yourself more variety and more opportunities it makes sense to register with more companies. It also helps to have additional job choices to help keep working when you are out of rotation. At the bottom of each page of the forum is the forum's "Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies". It does not include ALL legitimate companies out there but rather ones that more shoppers here have worked with. You will see links to discussions of these companies because like with anything else, there are the good and the bad companies even within the realm of 'legitimate' and we don't all perceive things the same way.
Hi my name is Donna. I am a grandmother with some extra time and would love to do some mystery shopping. Looking forward to doing this and spending more time enjoying outings out with the grandchildren. So I am ready!
Hi, I'm new here. I'm thinking about doing some mystery shopping to help boost my income. I'm a little wary and was hoping to find out more about it and look into companies to make sure they're legitimate and credible.
Welcome to the forum! It is wise to be wary because there are so many scams in 'work from home opportunities'. There is this forum's Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies at the bottom of each page of the forum which will take you to links and discussions about companies we work with. While these companies are legitimate, some companies will work better for you than others. You won't make a boatload of money mystery shopping but you can certainly find a place for it in your life.
