Welcome! I too am fond of doing banks. I get to go back to them every few years when the personnel has changed enough that I'm not greeted by the name I gave them last shop.
In my area the issue is that people don't go into banks any more except for something such as doing a loan application or opening an account--and even at that, account opening is easier on line it seems. So when I go in, every teller and banker in the place looks up to see what is happening. Sometimes I almost feel that if I wore a hoodie and sunglasses or a ball cap and sunglasses in they would hit the silent alarm immediately thinking I was there to hold them up because who else goes into banks these days? I do remote deposits and ATM withdrawals, so if I walk inside, something must be wrong.
Hi,

Banks are good. But I wish they would share some more cash with shoppers. smiling smiley

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
Flash,
I just opened a bank account. When I entered the lobby there was a sign asking patrons to remove hat and sun glasses, for their own security and protection. It didn't say, "No hoodies," but I'm certain I'm not the only one who saw those words hanging in the air!

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
There has been a string of bank robberies down here this summer and the robber is always in a ball cap and sunglasses. I too have seen the signs requesting removal of hat and sunglasses yet it is obviously not enforceable.
