Longtime shopper, first time poster

Hello everyone. I've been a mystery shopper on and off for more than 20 years. I started doing restaurant shops for DSG Associates back when they sent you a paper form with three colored carbons. Then I did some bank shops for a group called Professional Review. There are times when I haven't shopped for years, but I keep coming back to it. It's fun and addictive, and anyway, my real job involves being a sort of critic too, as a freelance writer who often does book reviews. These days I look for restaurant shops only.

The funniest moment I had as a shopper was when I did a "competition" shop for fast food. The first thing out of the mouth of the cashier wasn't a greeting...it was a burp followed by "excuse me"! That sure went down funny on the review.

Welcome to the forum! I had forgotten all about those old NCR forms. I think it was Maritz that was still using them as recently as 8 or 9 years ago!
Welcome!

At least he said, "Excuse me" instead of something else. As for the possibilities, I will leave that up to who reads this. smiling smiley
