Unfamiliar with forums in general, but grateful for this one.

I have just asked my first question, so I must introduce myself. I have been shopping since October 2014 and completed about 100 shops. I have read many articles from the Mystery Shopper Magazine and I have read the "recent discussions and posts" regularly. I am very grateful for the help and guidance I have received from all of you experienced participants. Today I had the first major problem come up, a "dim weight discrepancy." I described it and asked about it on another page and I don't really understand how this forum works. I have never participated in one before. I am looking for guidance on this subject and I hope someday to be a contributor as well as a learner.

Welcome. You seem to have brought aa great attitude to all of this. I don't have an answer to your shop question, but wanted to welcome you anyway.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Thank you. I had a couple of responses that lead me to believe the weight discrepancy is SUPPOSED to be. However, since this wasn't mentioned in the guidelines, I assumed an error had been made and indicated so on my report. Maybe the clerk was supposed to explain it to me, I don't know yet. I emailed the scheduler to inquire. We'll see.
Actually, I later realized that I, too, had that scare when I did my first, and only, dim weight assignment! It turned out just as the other posters stated, and I was paid without hesitation.

Welcome to the forum taeg!

You are already a contributor as questions, and the answers they generate, are exactly how forums in general work. We all learn by reading. For example your USPS weight discrepancy "C" shop question thread told me something new even though I have done 10 or 20 "C" shops and encountered that issue. This forum does more than many by creating places like stickies and the Mystery Shopper Magazine for general and specific advice on the topic.

Glad to have you on board. smiling smiley

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
