Greetings from Indiana!

Hello everyone! I'm not just brand new to the forum, but I'll say I'm brand new to shopping. I did a mystery shop probably close to ten years ago now. It was my only one, and I'm guessing the dynamics have changed over the course of a decade. I am not signed up with any companies (you call them MSCs as I am learning), don't have a clue what is good to start with in the Midwest, but am open to studying and learning! I did read the article about not expecting to receive years of hard work from someone else who doesn't know me and has put in all the work, and it makes sense. If anyone has any insight or tips to tell a newbie, please don't hesitate to let me know. Otherwise, I'll dig around on the different forum topics and study. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute in return very soon down the road!

jdawg,
Welcome to the forums!

Your best "quick study" will be to read all of the top threads in the New Mystery Shoppers area. They are labeled as "sticky" which means they are always at the top of the list there.

Then, start to sign up with some of the nearly 20 MSCs on the list at the foot of this page. You can use the search function to discover more details about what shoppers think of each, but remember that one shopper's poison it another's meat and potatoes.

Enjoy!
