I'm a wannabe "Mystery Shopper."

I have applied to countless M/S ads and been 'accepted' only to have each of those prospective employers send me checks, money orders, and company checks that were not worth the paper used to create them. I find it to be really discouraging!

Does anybody have a serious suggestion for me? I believe I want to do this. It is not coming as easy as I thought it would.

Forget the ads. As Dee suggested, apply with companies listed here, [www.mysteryshopforum.com] and read the different sections of this forum for immensely helpful exchanges with other shoppers. It isn't easy, but it can be fun and money-making.
"Dee" and "Mert" I want to thank you for replying is such a timely manner... I reckon I will be in touch again... Thanks... roger
This is for rogerp1.I've gotten some of that kind too,but the difference I see in that kind is the big $200.00 pay and you send them money to or through the "WESTERN UNION. At this place you can't get their address and they have gotten you good money from you institution and you'll have to pay it back if you cashed it at your bank. Please read with understanding of what they want you to do and if this sounds weird, then don't go for it.That's just one or two things to look out for but there's more to see in that approach they use on people. You came to the right place to talk about what's going on with you. You can make nice to good money and it takes time to develop the right grove and you can start "cherry picking you jobs.
I suggest going to the MSPA website which has hundrens of legit companies, if you manage to sign up for them all, then try violation

This forum has a list of "legitimate" shopping companies. Not all good companies are affiliated with the MSPA. Not all companies affliated with the MSPA are "good."
