1995Dragtop,
Deeshops is correct on both accounts:
We are a real mystery shopping company, however, the email you received may not have originated from our company.
Yesterday we were made aware that our corporate logo and identity has been hijacked by an unknown party outside of the United States. If the email you received is signed by "Michael Bare" and refers to our company as being from the "central Ohio area" the email is part of a scam and you should not reply to it. The party in question is using our company name in an attempted to defraud unsuspecting consumers via the Western Union Scam.
I strongly encourage you to submit the email (with all of the message headers) and file a complaint at wwww.ic3.gov. In addition you may want to file a report with FTC and local authorities. We are willing to cooperate with the authorities in this matter, however the FBI is telling us that there is little that they can do until they receive a sufficient number of complaints.
The security of our shopper's data is very important to us. We have recently added SSL encryption to our Prophet website to protect all of the data that is contained in that website. This week we are in the process of securing our shopper support center (www.sentrymarketing.net) with a similar SSL key.
We are not the first mystery shopping company to have its corporate image hijacked and used in this manner. Unfortunately this is part of the world we live in.
Please feel free to contact me if I can answer any questions. I can be reached via email at
