I am brand new and still researching to find out all about mystery shopping. I started the process with one company that charges a fee. It sounded like it could be fun, and right up my alley. Before committing, I searched on the web to see if the company was legit. Basically, I learned that shoppers should not pay a fee!
More searching led me here… I have not signed up with any company so I have not done any jobs yet. I hope I can make sense of it all and get started without investing too much more time. I spent too much time with that first company.

Welcome to the board. Please, don't waste your money by paying to sign up for any company, there is a list of excellent companies on the bottom right of this page.

THANKS… AND YES IT IS PRETTY CONFUSING… I'M HANGING IN THERE… BEEN READING FOR THE PAST SEVERAL HOURS…. HAVEN'T GOTTEN TO THE NEXT STEP YET … WHATEVER THAT IS.

Welcome to the forum!

It has so much information it really can be a bit overwhelming. For that reason it has been broken down into sections. The New Members section has a bunch of 'sticky' threads that stay on top because they are a great read for beginners.

For you I'm going to suggest one article that can easily get you to the "next step." That step is to sign up for companies. The article is called, "Five Mystery Shopping Companies for Beginners." Hi everybody! I just came upon this forum looking for shipping information for my company. I don't know if anyone else has trouble finding the cheapest way to ship items for their company but I find the USPS to be very confusing! Anyway, glad I found this site it's always good to have another source of income and thanks for the good leads above! Have a great night everybody!
