I'm New

Just joined today and looking forward to being part of the community. I need to really supplement my income during mystery shops. Can someone point me in the right direction and not have to drive far distances just to earn $15.

Biggest thing with mystery shops if you can schedule them in two day runs try and make the runs have several shops all by each other. If you get an outlyer that you can't do on the first day , then the second day you won't have to go over 30 miles for a $15 shop. God knows I've done that more then once.

1. Spreedsheets work real well on keeping track of what your possible shops ( everything you applied for), your known shops, and what date ranges you have to complete something. Sometimes you can also ask a scheduler if there is any flexibilty in dates to see if one shop can be moved closer to another shop date. Try out JobSlinger.com and you can find a lot of companies. I'm still on my free membership with them but when it runs out I'll be investing the couple bucks a month to keep it going. I think I generally get $50 a week off that site.

Yesterday I got two shops, with two different companies that where side by side to each other. I was doing flips, I hadn't even done it on purpose.
Where are you located and what towns do you shop? I have some shops in IA, KS, MI and MN if you are in one of those areas. If interested email me at EllenforPSS@aol.com

Hi, cliff, welcome to the forum. We are all mystery shoppers here,. We don't assign jobs, but you can spend some time reading here and learn the ropes of mystery shopping and then you will be able to find jobs for yourself.

All the information you need to begin mystery shopping is available on this website. It's set up as a learn-as-you-go, work-at-your-own pace process. When you mystery shop, you are actually running your own small business, working as an independent contractor for multiple mystery shopping companies. In the beginning, mystery shopping is very time-consuming. You will spend a lot of time reading so you can understand how mystery shopping works. You will spend a lot more time researching and planning and setting up your business. You'll spend even more time registering with companies, providing your personal information and SS#. Some of the companies will want you to provide a writing sample or take tests.

Very time-intensive. Don't get discouraged. Plan to spend a lot of time in preparation before you start making any money. You'll spend a lot of time sorting through jobs to decide which ones are "worth it" to you and finding companies that have assignments in your area. When you do start getting assignments, most will not be quick, easy, fast, or fun. And most will not pay very much money.
