I actually found out yesterday a few of the old places I shopped for had merged and I came out with 2 car shops with nice incentives and got a email this morning to do another with a extra $50.00 I was so excited almost seemed to good to be true... so all is not lost!!!

Many shoppers maintain a list of companies. Information can include
When you first heard of them,
How you heard of them,
Did you sign up/apply,
Did they approve your application,
Username & password,
Notes - any thing relevant such as why you did not apply.
In my 6 years of doing this, my spreadsheet has often saved me re-researching companies that I have had contact with before and forgotten about. Especially when it reminded me of why I did not apply.
