When you take a digital picture it is in 'jpg' format, which is exactly what virtually every company wants. Most frequently the way you 'upload' it is to either connect your camera to your computer or take the memory card out of your camera and attach it to your computer either through a card reader slot or a USB card reader that attaches to a USB port. Before you start your report, right click on the 'Start' button and go to 'Explore' (I am assuming you are using a Windows operating system). You should see some 'device' connected to your machine with a drive letter associated with it such as D: E: F: etc (but not C
Depending on your camera, you may see something such as MSPro (F

if you are using a Memory Stick or something equally identifiable if you have directly attached your camera. When you click on that you are likely to see two or more file folders, one of which is likely to be "DCIM". That is likely to open up to still another folder (on my machine it is called "101MSCDF"

which you click to open. When you open that folder you will see your photographs.
Your most recent are more than likely at the bottom of the list, so scroll down to find them. You most likely will see 'thumbnails' of what the photos look like. If you don't see the pictures, go to "Views" in the menu bar and select "Thumbnails" in Win XP or "Medium Icons" in Win Vista. When you click on a picture it should expand so you can see what it looks like.
Once you have gone through your pictures, I strongly recommend that you copy and paste them onto your computer in the same folder where you have saved your job instructions, questionnaire copy, etc. You may find it useful or needed to rename the photo. If you right click on the photo you will get the possiblility to 'Rename' from the menu that pops up. When you select that, just type the new name in the highlighted area and hit return.
Now that you know where the picture is, when you are filling out the questionnaire and get to where you need to upload the picture, there usually is a "Browse" button that lets you go through the file tree of your computer to get to the picture and then a quick double click on it will set it up to be uploaded.
Sounds very complicated, but after you have done it once or twice it will become second nature. The same procedure pretty much holds true when you are scanning a receipt to be uploaded. Make sure you select the 'jpg' (also called JPEG) format to save the scan. Save the file where you can find it on your computer and easily link it to the form to be sent.
I would encourage you to try moving photos from your camera to your computer, renaming them and then finding them again just as an exercise so you are comfortable with it before you need to browse and upload them into a report.
