Maritz

Hello,

I am a new shopper and I applied last night for 2 jobs with the best pay I have seen yet with Maritz. They were added to my requested shops section. I checked this morning and they were still there. When I checked back this afternoon, they had been scheduled to another shopper. I was wondering if this is because I am new and they went with someone who has been shopping longer or if the other shopper requested them before me. Can anyone let me know. Any response would be appreciated. Thank you.

They like phone contact, a lot. They are not the best about using the tech. systems they have set up. After you have completed a certain number of shops you can self assign. Next time you see stuff you want, try calling after applying. I just got 2 chocolate stores that way...after they had been sitting in my requested list for 2 weeks.

You need to complete 10 shops befroe you can self assign...winking smiley

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.

Thank you both for your replies. I will certainly try calling next time I see a really great shop. Otherwise I will keep on doing shops they offer until I can self assign.

Don't wait for a 'really great shop'. Call on any shop you would be willing to do to 'get in your 10'. If you wait or a 'really great shop' to call it may well be gone by someone who can self assign before you ever even see it. I don't know if they still do it but generally self assign folks saw the shops a day or two before they were visible to 'newbies' to them.
