Mystery shopper in hotels

Hi! I'm in the process for becoming a mystery shopper in the hospitality industry, in order to be as prepared as one can be I'm curious about experiences by other mystery shoppers, especially the ones staying in hotels. Thank you in advance.

I've done a handful of hotel shops over the years.

They require considerable work (should not be viewed as a paid vacation), and you have to sometimes be willing to look like an idiot meeting the maintenance interaction requirement.

In my experience, you will have to start out with smaller jobs outside the hotel niche to build up experience so you can get hotel shops assigned to you.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
A rhymes with boil MSC has $1K daily hotel shops on the board. My problem is if they do not like your survey, you are out the $Ks. Be careful with hotel shops as they are, in my opinion, not for beginners.
