If they send you a check in advance, it is a scam. If they want you to buy gift cards and send them the numbers, it is a scam. If you are being offered more than $50 for a first shop (some would argue more than $20), it is a scam. If it sounds too good to be true, it is a scam.

Yes they sent me a check for 2,481.00 they want me to go cash the check and buy 5 350.00 gift cards and 1 250.00 cards that will =2000 and the 481.00 that's left is mine..so this is a scam ...
The check will bounce. Your bank will want all of the money back. It might take a week to bounce. If it was sent to you via US mail, contact the USPS Postal Inspectors. They can shut down the sender's mail address.
