INDIANAPOLIS, IN

Hello All. I just started shopping in the Indianapolis area, was reading in the forum about, insurance, hotel, etc shops.
Some one also mentions checking out the companies that they work for via the BBB. How does that work.
I have worked for Bare International last month and have not received a payment
does any one else experience this. Normally the pay on time.
Also I would be interested in meeting other shoppers in the Indy area, for business lunch, hopeing to get useful information that will help me become a better shopper.
Thanks

Bare has a good history of timely payment, what they don't necessarily have is a history of timely review of shops to have them ready for timely payment. I did a job in late March that was not reviewed until late April and is not yet paid.
Starting fresh -

Bare's terms are as stated: "USA Fees for services performed and reimbursement for allowable expenses will be distributed by computer-generated check on the 16th of the month following the month in which projects were properly completed and received according to project requirements."

While I have not had payment problems with Bare, two members have posted of payment delays. Please keep us posted.

Injennet, the BBB has a search feature using a defined radius. Their relevance, primarily, pertains to unanswered complaints.
I do work for BARE and have so far not had any problem with them paying according to schedule. If you do not receive your pay as stated in their guidelines call them and let them know. They have the same problem we have. They are dealing with us human beings and anyone is capable of making a mistake. Welcome to the MS business. I hope you find it as much fun as I have. I love setting my own schedule and taking a day off from work every once in a while. I do it full time and this forum is valuable so keep coming back.
I'm in Indy also, I'd recommend looking into Mysteryshopperprogram.com. That's the website for Goodwin & Associates.
Hi mysteryshopdjb! When was the last time you did a job for Goodwin and when did you get paid? They have been chronic late payers for some time and I just wonder if they are getting quicker about it.

I've done 4 shops for them since the beginning of January 2011, all at high end restaurants downtown. They are slow to pay and I had to chase them down at 90 days, but they do pay. They just seem very unorganized, so going forward I'm not going to panic until 90 days after the shop.
