High Paying MS jobs?

Can someone direct me to the companies who pay better commissions than $30 per shop?

When you find them, pass on the list! smiling smiley

There are a number of companies that on rare occasions have such jobs which they seem to offer first to their most consistently good shoppers. There are also hotel jobs that pay that kind of money, but lots of hoops to jump through and you truly earn your keep.
Well recently I have done one for a mortgage loan which paid me $150 and one for a casino shop which pays $75 just looking for some more of those type of paying shops.
Then look for apartment rental and new home shops. You will need to get a DVR (digital audio recorder) and a high quality video recording system to consistantly make $60 and more per shop. Before making a $400 investment for video shopping, be sure to get good training and try a few shops with equipment that the MSCs will rent to you for a modest fee.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.

Lizhoop, on that casino shop. I have been offered those but they seem to reimburse for certain games like poker. Do I have to do all that is on their list because I do not know how to play poker so I have not accepted any of those. Can you explain exactually how those work? Thanks, Susie
Haha, I second Flash. If you find them, pass them along.

Usually you won't find "quick" shops that pay more than $30 (not counting reimbursement). Video shops pay considerably more (because there's not many people who can do them), but it's going to be AT LEAST a $400 investment to get your video equipment.

If you want to spend all day in a movie theater, Certified offers decent paying shops. The only problem is that you're often there from 10AM to 11PM, watching the same movie 5+ times. And when you divide the amount of money you get paid by the number of hours you spent working the shop, you're making significantly less than minimum wage (around $5-$6 an hour).
I'm still waiting for that $150.00 bonus, if you move to Seattle, it might be possible, not in L.A. I just got a $12.00 bonus, that brings the job back to where it was before they lowered the price this year....yippee!!

I only did two that fell into that category, both fake loan shops that took multiple days and they made up an entirely different identity for me. They went so far as to temporarily alter the county land records to show no traces of my husband anywhere as well as totally changing my credit report. Those shops paid $450 each. There was a narrative that took two full typed pages for each and every interaction, as well as a phone call to the MS headquarters each time. There was a lot to it and you had to meet with an attorney to do the closing of this imaginary loan and that went 4 typed pages. I had the best fun doing it.

I find casino shops with Bestmark as well as vehicle service shops (when they get desperate) are decent. The casino shops usually pay around $75 and reimburse you for the tips and meal they usually require.
i just got an email from Informa about a $150 Mortgage Shop. From what i see here its to good to be true is that the case or has anyone done this shop?
They come up from time to time. Just be very aware of what you are getting yourself into. When you go to their job board you should be able to see details of the job to give you some idea about the complexity of the job.
I've done 2 of these for Informa. Waiting for the 1st payment to come which should be next week since is had been 30 days. Just completed one for $150.
is it worth the $150? i cant see it on my page they told me i needed to complete some stuff and then they would schedule it to my page after i pass a background check.
Bubba,

It didn't take that long for me to do the shop and complete the long questionnaire. You do have to FedEx your paperwork in within 24 hrs which they pay for and provide the label. For about 2 hrs of work $150 is not bad pay.
I did a real high end car shop and was paid $150.00. I drove 50 miles to do it and got paid for the shop within about 2 weeks. Looking forward to doing that one again next year.
I'm considering a $75.00 auto dealership, took it and now not sure...requires two visits (60 milesx) and an extensive report, uch more detailed than the norm...two seperate visits bring it to $37.50 a visit, gas brings it down to 27.00...h__, I do my regular ones for 25.00 to 30.00 for the one visit and easier reports. When you look at it that way, no deal!!

It is going to depend on: 1) where you are located; 2) how much competition you have in your area from other shoppers; 3) how good the reputation you built is with the companies you are working with; 4) what kinds of shops are available to you; 5) how hard you are willing to work and 6) how much time you spend looking for jobs.

Video shopping seems to pay a lot more (for now at least) than other types of shops. With video shops you will earn more if you have your own equipment. My understanding is that the average video shop pays around $40, so 2+ video shops per day should get you to your goal.

On the other hand, most mystery shops pay in the $10-15 range and usually out of pocket expenses to be reimbursed. I don't know that in my area, with the current economy, I would be able to achieve $2500 per month in fees even if I was taking shops that cost me more in gas than the fee offered. There is definitely a 'law of diminishing returns' in shops. If the shop is not profitable for me, I don't see any reason to perform it and write the report. For me, 'profitable' includes useful reimbursements that are substitutes for paying for the goods or services myself (i.e. groceries, gas, oil changes, restaurant dinners).
Reality Check does high end retail shops that pay well. They also are a quick paying company. I have done several jewelry store shops for them at $35 a shot. They do not have many in my area but the ones they have are fun and pay well. The paperwork is not real bad but does have several comment boxes that require 5 or more sentences.
I really like Reality Check, but paying 45 to 60 days after the shop is not what I'd consider quick.

When you find a location that pays that high on a consistant basis let me know so I can move there.

Yes I have been paid and rather quickly. It wasn't such a bad assignment once I got through the registration process.
