Lobby checks

I am new to this, and I do not understand what this shop entails when it says "involves conducting a physical check of select PROMOTIONAL ITEMS and audio levels check of all LOBBY ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK (LEN) MONITORS." I have attempted to search the forum for this, but I have been unable to find anything. Can someone please explain it to me?

This sounds like a theater check. If so, think about the things likely to be in a theater lobby. There will be large, free standing signs (standees) for upcoming movies, posters for current and upcoming movies, signs for the concession stand, perhaps give aways, all as promotions. Video game consoles are your primary 'entertainment' in the lobby, though there could be video monitors with advertising, information etc. They are indicating that they will be telling you which promotional items to look for and audio checks of lobby entertainment is most likely to see if the video games or monitors are turned on loud enough to hear but not loud enough to blast away much too loud. I have not seen or done a shop such as this, but considering what all is in your standard movie theater lobby, I suspect this is what is involved. The exact instructions for the job would give you more specifically what is needed. If I saw this as the descriptor for a movie in my area I would give it a try, especially if it paid admission for two.
Flash is exactly right. I enjoy any movie shops (providing the pay is right). Some theaters have tv screens in the lobby so they will ask you to stand there and take notes on what is shown for a certain amount of time. Then you will have to document what posters, standees, hangers, ets.
