Dallas is a relatively competitive market with a lot of shoppers from what I understand from a couple of folks. Even if it wasn't competitive, it takes time to get signed up with companies, build relationships with those who have shops in your area and get paid. What is your time line? I probably had been shopping for 6 months without a whole lot of competition before I had my first month that yielded more than $1000 in fees plus reimbursements. Of that, about $750 was fees. With the competition in my market over the past about two years it is again somewhat difficult some months to find enough jobs to reach $750 in fees. I still do well with useful reimbursements, but reimbursements don't pay bills, they can only help with bills by buying things you MUST spend money on anyway and freeing your resources for bill payment.
