Never applied to this company!

Just got a email from ACE aka M S Reserch Agency. When I did my home work with them, there BBB rating was bad. So I never applied. Any info on how they would get my email and offer me a shop? I keep a record of all my companies, and they are not on my list for either of their names.

ACE is a legitimate MSP, using shopmetrics. I am not familiar with an a/k/a of "M S Reserch Agency". ACE, Associate Consumer Evaluations, has a link here, under Mystery Shopping Companies.
I have not seen the a/k/a either. The ACE at [www.acemysteryshopping.com] has some moderately interesting shops from time to time. They pay around the end of the month following the month of the shop.
Yea, but how would they know my email, ACE/M S Reserch Agency? If I never signed up. So strange.
They wouldn't unless someone told them or they hacked a database. Sometimes a company will share addresses for shoppers in hard-to-fill areas, but usually those tell you in the email where they got the address. But frankly, I don't find anything on the actual ACE site that indicates an a/k/a so unless it is going to the Associate Consumer Evaluations site I would be skeptical of a scam.
I just finished three jobs with Ace (mentioned above), I liked their style, very straight forward and decent jobs in my area. Don't know about the research agency.

Live consciously....
Associate Consumer Evaluations calls themselves "ACE." Associate Consumer Evaluations is a really nice company and I've done several shops for them, and will do as many as they have posted here. The scheduler I've don the most work with is Deva. I suggest you forward the e-mail you received to her and ask if the e-mail originated with her company. I reach her at deva@acemysteryshopping.com and she is very prompt in her responses. If it is actually, Associate Consumer Evaluations, I work for them and like them.
Thanks AustinMom! I have just found this website so I could post some assignments!

Charlene, I have actually never heard of M S Research Agency. If you happened to receive an email from me (deva@acemysteryshopping.com) please reply to it so I can help you out. :-) Sometimes schedulers for other companies DO send me great shoppers in the areas I am having trouble with. However, I do try to let the shoppers know that they were referred to me (I usually have that at the top of the email).

This seems like a great site and I look forward to being around. :-)

I do not know how they got your email but I can tell you that ACE is reputable. I have done a number of cell phone company shops for them in the past and they were easy to work with and paid on time.
