A Questions About Payment

Hello,

I'm new to mystery shopping.

I'm finding that many Shopping companies use Paypal as a means of paying the shopper. I would rather not use paypal only b/c they take a cut from your payment and it can take up to four days to get your money.

How common is it that Paypal is used?

Most of the companies that use the SASSIE reporting system use Paypal. Some other companies do as well. Only Corporate Research International and Second to None pass on any of the cost of Paypal to you and both of them allow other payment options. I have never had any fees pulled out of my Paypal payments for mystery shopping. I do have fees when I use my Paypal account as a seller on eBay. Paypal states it takes 3-4 business days for money to transfer to your bank. The reality varies quite a lot. My last payment I got notice of on 10/19 and transferred immediately. The money was in my bank on 10/20. Most frequently the transfers are in 2-3 business days, but I have never had them take more than 4 business days. So how long does it take a check in the mail to reach you and for you to get it to the bank?

The MSC"s pay the fee you are not charged for the moneybtransfer to you account at all. What ever you are owed is what youwill get.
