I have never had that problem. The shops I contract for are in USD, so I expect to be paid in USD and have never been disappointed. I suppose that if I contracted for work in Euros or Pounds or Aussie Dollars I would be paid with them. I know that our Canadian shoppers who contract with US based firms frequently have currency exchange issues because they are often paid in USD. The exchange rate to Canadian Dollars used to work to their advantage but not so much so these days as their currency is stronger versus the USD.
