new shopper

Hello everyone. I am new to mystery shopping. I tried to start this couple years ago but right after I sighned up for mystery shopping, my daughter lost her car and we shared a car for a long time.
I'm back to try my hand at it.'
I do have a question for experienced shoppers. I just received a job from a Frank James, email:evaluationteam50@rogers.com, has any worked with this company before?

CAUTION!!! The Frank James name has been showing up on scam emails. If you want to get started shopping you need to register with legitimate companies and be very very very wary of any "company" that contacts you "out of the blue", especially if they are offering high paying work and/or sending you large checks to cash and wire transfer on money. The checks are fraudulent and will bounce, leaving you in hot water with your bank and with losses to be covered if you transferred the money.

There is a list of legitimate companies here in the first post of the first thread in the Mystery Shopping Company Discussion section of the forum.
Like Flash said there are too many legal and legit companies out here to be hoodwinked by some scam artist. Look at the bottom of this page under the reply area there is the Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies another way is to use www.volition.com and they have alist also use both. Good Hunting and Good Luck.

Your instincts were right, a definite scam....read here for reliable companies, don't trust popups, or emails that make promises...remember, you never get paid before doing the job. Sending you an large amount via Western Union, run fast!!

Live consciously....
