I finished my first full month as a shopper, still lovin' it!

One month into this new experience and I have to say....I love this!

I've been working for the most part 3-4 days a week and averaging about 15 hours including travel and reports. I don't know if this is considered good or bad, but I've calculated my hourly rate between $18-22 pretty consistently over these weeks. I admit I had one bad week 2 weeks ago where I traveled way too far for way too little....foolish mistake. But everything else has gone really, surprisingly well.

I have been focusing on apartment shops for a few different MSC's and now I'm branching out a little doing assisted living and daycare facilities. So far, these assignments have been a nice change of pace from apartment shops.

I'm constantly researching different MSC's to add to my growing list and checking them against the list on this site. I'm also keeping really good records and keeping everything organized with a spreadsheet, which has been a lifesaver for me.

I had a little glitch with my iphone though. This past week, I started getting lots of porno text messages and 900 prefix phone calls....I think I might've clicked on something I shouldn't have and got inundated yesterday with all sort of colorful...stuff. Enough said. Anyway, a call today to an ATT tech cleared up the problem, at least for now.

I'm not sure if my cell phone troubles had anything to do with my shopping...that remains yet to be seen.

It's up to me to make me happy.

From a lot of your posts I assumed you had been shopping longer. Great job! I think $18 to $22 would be excellent for someone a lot farther along in their MS business than a month so it is phenomenal for a few short weeks. Keep up the good worksmiling smiley

Congratulations. That's a great start. You are wise to load up on shops that not only pay above average but also do not require a purchase, while you build your business and your cash reserves!
