Holidays and Mystery Shopping

This is my first holiday season as a mystery shopper. For those that have been doing this for years, do you notice any change around the holidays? Influx or decrease? Different types of assignments? Just curious. Thanks!

Generally same type of shops. Generally huge push to get December shops done early in the month. Many shoppers are too busy with their own families and holiday preparations to do shops so frequently there are some nice bonuses.

While I'm sure everyone's experience is a little different, I always see a little bit of a decline in November and December. I prepare myself ahead of time, knowing my numbers for the rest of the year won't be what they have been. I usually see the same types of shops, but there seem to be fewer of them in my area.

November is also a month when schedulers get nervous about closing out the month early, due to Thanksgiving. So, bonus time starts early.
