It depends on the MSC and sometimes on which client it is with the MSC. Every one is different. Which particular MSC are you asking about?
Also, some MSCs provide feedback on the site, but do not communicate such to the shopper, via email. Depending on the MSC, and the project, timing to get feedback varies widely, anywhere from a few hours to a couple of weeks. I would say that for the most part, I get feedback in two to three days. For the MSCs who do not share a rating with the shopper, no news is good news.
Certainly if there was a shop I was uneasy about I check back with the website the next day to see if it has been processed on through. If it hasn't, I scrutinize emails in my trash and spam since I submitted to make sure I haven't accidentally overlooked a contact attempt. I then will keep a closer eye on incoming email and daily check the site until it is approved. This is not an undue effort because it is probably only one in 50 to 75 shops where everything did not go as expected and I feel the need to monitor the report's progress. Mostly, though, as Mert indicated, no news is good news.
I have a shop I completed early September (maybe around the 10th) that still has not been approved. I have emailed the scheduler no response. All other shops before and after that one has been approved not sure what my next move should be.
I would email the scheduler again. I would try to be a little humorous about it, joking that my insecurities were showing, but that my XXX shop from early September had still not been approved and asking for her help in finding out if it was an oversight or if there was a problem.

It's RBG. My thought was to wait until I got feedback in case they had a problem with my punctuation, grammar, etc., before doing more. There have been a couple more shops they have offered in my area, but they require a rating of 7. Since this was my first shop, I don't have a rating yet.
I don't usually hear back from them but indeed my shop from mid-September has been 'graded'. So yes, I would email the scheduler again.
Thanks, AustinMom. If I don't hear from them by Wednesday, I'll email Robin. I know she must be screamingly busy, and I don't want to bother her. I just wasn't sure how all of this works yet.
Also check your Shop Log. Sometimes I get an e-mail noting that the shop has been graded and sometimes I do not. But when graded, the grade appears in your Shop Log.

RBG are VERY easy graders. Try not to over-worry.

Flash, are you replying to me, or to cnotorious?

Yes, to you touchshopper. The notion of emailing Robin makes good sense. She has always seemed reasonable so I would suspect your previous email got overlooked somehow.
@AustinMom, are there other MSCs you would put in the easy or hard grader category? I'm new, but generally see 10s. I'm wondering if I should take that to mean my reports are pretty good or I've just lucked out by picking easy graders as my first companies. Thanks.
Although I'm sure AustinMom will give you her take on it, my own impression is that I "fit" with some companies and not so much with others. When I remember to parrot each question and answer in the narrative (whether yes or now), I will get good scores from Service Check, when I don't they remind me I forgot to comment on a 'yes' and now I get to respond and will see a 9 instead of a 10. RGB and I seem to fit well so I always have 10s. Confero used to almost never give 10s under the philosophy that 'nobody is perfect', though I understand they have loosened up in recent years. Overall I find I "fit" well with the companies that have jobs I want to do at the prices they are willing to pay me to do them, so I really don't mind if they grade or don't grade.

Actually, I haven't emailed her yet about this. That was cnotorious. I thought it was too soonish (is that a word? lol) to be bugging her because I know she's so busy. That's why I was asking what the norm would be for most shoppers working with RBG. As AustinMom said, 2-3 days not counting weekends would put me somewhere around Tuesday. I'll wait until Wednesday to give her the benefit of the doubt. If I haven't heard from her by then, I will email her. Thanks, Flash. winking smiley
Flash has hit the nail on the head. I could give you my opinions but my opinions don't necessarily match those of everyone here - and my not match yours - so you might be bitterly disappointed after working for someone because "Austin said they were easy" and they WEREN'T easy to you.

It always amuses me when someone asks our favorite MSCs, because the MSCs that others name as favorites might be on my 10-foot pole, and some of my very favorites are not tremendously popular with other shoppers.

I agree with AustinMom, anneshop. I've spent most of my time reading all the posts from the more experienced MSs to try and glean which MSCs I should stay away from, and which are much better, but it seems to be a case of "to each his own" here. Some people complain bitterly about a particular MSC, while others rave about the same one. We just have to do our own research to find custom-fit matches for ourselves. smiling smiley
To be clear, I wasn't asking about favorite MSCs. I was wondering if some are known to be easy or hard graders to better assess my quality. E.g. I have had all 10s from Data Quest and have wondered if they are any easy grader. However, I do take the point that it is about fit. I think I prefer the more narrative-oriented companies and feel stressed when I can't fully express what I saw/experienced.
I think we all understood your question, anneshop. My response was more of an example. Opinions are just that: Opinions. My easy grader may be someone else's hard grader. I think RBG might be the easiest grader around. I find Service Check to be easy, although I regularly read complaints from others who believe their editors are terribly hard graders. I find Intellishop to be easy graders, although, again, many complaints here from others who do not agree (and, let me add, I rarely work for Intellishop because fees are so low, so I am not advocating them).

The easiest graders of all and the easiest reports of all are Market Force in my opinion. I tend to like to write narratives so narrative-heavy reports do not bother me. Others find them difficult.

So hard graders/easy graders/narrative-heavy or not, all of this is opinion. Ask 10 people and you will get 10 different answers.

But you do get a rating from RBG, AustinMom? Just wondering.

Yes, and it will appear in your Shop Log. Sometimes you also get an e-mail noting that your report has been reviewed, but you do not always get an e-mail.
