MS as a job

Hi, I'm new to being a Mystery Shopper, and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to make mystery shopping a full time job? Does anyone have any examples of their day and what they do and how they do it?

You are running your own small business so how you set it up depends on your preferences. But realize that the key for making this full time is availability of shops in your area. Before you make any decisions, do a few shops and then start registering with a lot of companies so that you can see what is available out there for you.

For myself, I usually run shops in the afternoon and write them up after dinner while the significant other is glued to the television. Exception, of course is those nights we have dinner shops, when I try to get all the day's shops reported before we go out for dinner and I return home to write up the dinner shop. I can readily shift my day so that I get up late and thus am still fairly fresh when it comes to writing reports at 10PM.
Technically MS is a small home based business, not a job. Whether you can earn a living will be dependent on several factors including location, motivation, your ability to travel and how willing you are to invest in your business.

Any new shopper should first use MS as a way to supplement their income. It is an easy way to determine if you are disciplined enough and if the jobs are plentiful enough to even consider more.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Sorry for the repetitive info, as usual Flash and I cross postedsmiling smiley

There are a few shoppers who have described how they work full-time and make $2k a month. Interviews with these shoppers are towards the bottom of the list at this link. [www.mysteryshoppermagazine.com]

Mr X does not sound like SteveSoCal to me. Steve is more of a lifestyle shopper. And Steve has been around the MS industry for a long time. If I remember correctly, he grew up with it - I think he went with his Mom on mystery shops when he was a child - am I remembering correctly?

Here's an article that Steve wrote about lifestyle shopping: [www.mysteryshoppermagazine.com]
If memory serves, "Mr. X" later revealed himself and it wasn't SteveSoCal. It was someone located in the northeast. To be sure I'd have to find the reference.
