Mystery Shopping Lingo

Other forums and blogs I spend a lot of time on seem to have come up with their own shorthand or lingo. Coupon clippers for example have an extensive set of terms used in blog posts and forum postings. However, the only lingo I seem to notice here is 'MSC' which is used a lot (OK figured that one out) and referring to well known shops using colorful descriptions such as 'Blue Bank' and 'Green Bank' (makes sense to avoid tying a shop with the MSC). I'm still new here but interested in other examples of shorthand or lingo used in the mystery shopping world. That way, I might be able to pass myself off as a mystery shopper some day.

We code name companies because we are not allowed to name them outright. The people who know what the Blue Bank is are shoppers who shop it. If you're not shopping them and not signed up with the MSC who does shop them, we can't say the name. It is a violation of our contracts with the MSC's to say who shops what company, and it is also a forum rule here.

so we talk in code, knowing the people who have access to the information will know who we're talking about and we're not revealing anything to anyone who doesn't.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
Yes, I pointed out that Blue Bank is code to avoid naming the actual bank. I was asking for other examples of code, lingo, shorthand I might see, not reveal the client we are sworn to protect. So the next time someone posts 'I got another AYX today' or 'I can't believe they boogled the mark' I might know what 'AYX' or 'boogled' mean (totally made up terms, no one actually posted using those terms but hey, if they aren't being used maybe we can start something).
OP stands for Original Poster. Sometimes people refer to the really, really big MSC. There are also gas station colors, the dessert place, Arches. That is all I can think of off hand.
Of course anyone who does not follow up and complete a shop they agreed to is known as a FLAKE.
A Cettie is referring to a weird happening that occurs during a shop. Like finding a dead body, or being chased by a horny goat or wearing the contents of a garbage truck...............

Her Serene Majesty, Cettie - Goat Queen of Zoltar, Sublime Empress of Her Caprine Domain
Cettie is absolutely right! If something truly bizarre happens to you while you're on a shop it's called 'a Cettie' since these things appear to be a common occurrence for her!
POP = proof of purchase
POV = proof of visit
Hedgehog = drive in hot dog place
DIY = do it yourself store (hardware store)
