Spend a lot of time reading. This section, New Mystery Shoppers, has a lot of information that will help you understand how this works. Keep in mind we are all independent contractors and we are in business for ourselves. How much time and effort you put into planning and implementing your business, and how many companies you register with, will deermine how successful you are.

So do the need reciept as proof of purchase

Most mystery shops require the receipt as proof that you were actually where you said you were. Read the instructions. They will tell you if you need a receipt, or a business card, or a picture of the building, or something else as proof.

Time to build a bigger bridge.

Tips: 1. Sign up for multiple companies. 2. Use this forum for questions (no question is too silly!). 3. Read assignment instructions carefully. 4. If any part of the assignment is unclear, ask. 5. Keep a detailed calendar so you know where to be & when. 6. Keep a spreadsheet of assignments to track payments. 7. Enjoy! Have fun!

Sign up with Marketforce to get an idea of what a mystery shopper does. They are usually fun if not very high paying jobs but a great learning experience and their website is pretty easy to navigate for a beginner.
