Calls From Scheduler

Not a new shopper, but a new problem..

I recently moved to a very rural area and I get very poor reception in this area. As a result, most of my incoming calls go straight to voicemail. Schedulers call me and leave a voicemail (wanting me to take jobs), but unless I'm thinking about it on one of my trips to a larger area, they don't get called back. Does this reflect poorly on me as a shopper? Example being someone from Maritz has been calling me for a few days now, but I never think about calling back until I'm in this poor reception area.. even if I could get through, there's no guarantee we could hear each other lol (has definitely cut down on my phone shops!).

My phone works perfectly "in the field" since all of my shops are in the less rural areas, so there's no problem if I need to contact someone about a job while (or before/after) doing it.

I'd suggest getting a VOIP number. You're missing out on opportunities.

Plan the work. Work the plan.
I don't think it reflects poorly on you. Schedulers will think you're busy, and will move on down their list. There are options available to you, if you are concerned about missing calls.
Probably not an answer, but who knows. We don't get very good reception out here and it is almost non-existent in the house. A big piece of the problem is that we have a metal roof. If you go out on the porch you have a more normal non-metal roof and get better reception. If you go all the way outside you get pretty decent reception.
Flash,

I am in the same boat as you. Let's not even start on sat. Internet. We were able to improve the inside cell phone problem by purchasing home phones with bluetooth. We paired it with our cells and now just pick up the regular phone. It is not perfect but has made a difference.
