Any twitter shoppers??

Are there any shoppers that use twitter? I'd like to befriend some experienced mystery shoppers since I am new. Even new ones is fine to maybe we can share experiences and advice smiling smiley

I just got an email for a party store job but I am not sure if I should wait for the pay to increase or is the price set and will not increase if I let it sit? I would say the company but not sure if I can or maybe the initials? Advice please still learning the ropes but enjoying it so far.

Twitter is limited to 140 characters. That is a limited amount of sharing. :-)

You could still share short notes and advice. Even Direct Messaging, I use twitter anyone else smiling smiley
If the name of the client is not "Party Store" you could mention EITHER the client name or the name of the company that shops it. The only thing you really need to be cautious about is BOTH are not named in the same thread.

In the case of the shops I have seen for party store mentioned generically, I rarely see bonuses on them except where apparently the scheduler forgot to assign them or perhaps it was that a shopper flaked. I have never shopped them because a primary value of the shop is the reimbursement and I don't need more of that stuff as I don't even use the supply of stuff I've got. But that has never stopped my mailbox from being filled by the scheduler who does these smiling smiley
Maybe I could just buy a balloon or candle for future birthday/party lol smiling smiley
It's only $7.00 but there are 3 right in town so might be worth it for that low pay i was thinking.
I don't twitter. But, I've made friends heresmiling smiley

I think I know the party store you're referring to. Typically, they get assigned pretty quickly without the need to bonus. Depends on the competition in your area. I can appreciate your attempts to hold out for a higher fee, and not snatch up every shop as it becomes available. I'd suggest as you're starting out, apply for the shops you want because they interest you, or sound fun, or pay well. Gain experience as you watch patterns of fees, bonuses, and timing. Keep notes. Timing should include both the date a shop hit the job boards, and how long it remained available.
Thanks Mert for the advice I really appreciate it. Just looking for a little guidance. That was my attempt is to see a pattern for my area and which shops go quickly etc... Any advice is greatly appreciated
And Mert was not in any way chastising you. It is always appropriate to ask. Certainly as you begin shopping, keeping notes of who shops what in your area, when they post etc. will help you get to the boards with appropriate timing to collect shops. Some companies are more predictable than others for certain types of shops, though more and more lately they seem to be dumping everything virtually simultaneously on their boards and within hours the jobs are gone. It is very frustrating--especially if it happens an hour or so after you last checked the board and you have been out on jobs only to discover on your return that fateful global email that the shops got posted in your absence.

With the abundance of shoppers out there, it is really mostly just the cheap shops that get bonused to get them done. Certainly if the pay and reimbursement are adequate to make the shop personally interesting to you, take it. Chances are there is someone even hungrier for work who will snag it otherwise. If a shop gets flaked, most frequently it is offered first to someone with a reputation for getting it done on the bonus round. Another reason to build your reputation with the company.

Now if we can get bunches of these folks back to work at good paying jobs, then perhaps there will be less competition for the scraps smiling smiley
Oh no I know Mert was not chastising me I appreciate his/her advice positive or any kinda to help me grow in this. Ok so originally I asked for any twitters. How about any yahoo IM shoppers? Maybe I can get to know some of you if anyone doesn't mind a new friend smiling smiley
Sorry, don't twitter, facebook, my space or any of that stuff. I don't even give out my cell because it is for MY outgoing calls, especially if I'm in a jam, rather than being another piece of equipment/site to check smiling smiley I do PM on here if it is something not suitable for an open public forum.
Oh ok seems like a very friendly place to ask questions and get advice. I'd like to befriend a few of you. So in case I have a question and not suitable for for forum. And I don't wanna be bothering the schedulers.
I twitter, but I am not really looking to twitter as an advice sharing thing. I think advice requires more than 140 characters. YMMV.
