NEAT comes in two sizes. No more cropping, editing, filing, sizing.

Cost about $100 for the portable size. Purchase this on-line. The NEAT scans receipts, business, cards, and documents. Saves so much time. You put in the software, plug it in to your laptop and your done. I first saw this at an airport, couldn't believe how much time this saves. Instructions are easy. All I do is send the receipt to PDF. Works great with Sassie, Prophet and more. I have never in 8 years had a problem. It is 11" x 2" easy to take with you if needed. NEAT does a lot more, but I only use it for receipts and business cards.

I found it very expensive and my husband bought me a magic wand which is absolutely brilliant and a fraction of the cost.

Is Magic Wand the brand name? Where did you buy one? Sounds like a great idea. I never thought about a portable receipt scanner, but that does sound handy.

I got mine on One Sale A Day for $30. I think I remember jp saying hers came from Best Buy but not sure. It is by VuPoint Solutions and is called Magic Wand Portable Handheld Scanner.

Tiny Scan app on my phone--I think it was $2.99. You take a photo of your receipt, it automatically crops to the receipt size and you can email it to yourself or I just send it to Dropbox and it shows up on my computer. Saves everything in PDF format so if you need a .jpeg or similar format, you just have to take a photo of the receipt then. My computer is bluetooth capable so if I have to do a photo, I upload that way.
