Then you have found the right place! There's a lot of information detailing the how-tos, and everything here is free. It's set up on a read-it-yourself, learn-at-your-own-pace basis. Settle in and read the threads in this section. Then do some general reading on the forum. Spend several hours reading and researching and start signing up with companies and start your mystery shopping business. Good luck and happy shopping!
You have to read this site for 6 hours a day for 12 weeks, then you will be a mystery shopper. You will be issued your special watch with hidden cyanide capsule in case you are discovered, as well as your decoder ring with built in camera.

JUST KIDDING (maybe)!

Read the posts on this page that have sticky next to them. When you feel you are ready to get into the magical world of mystery shopping, click on this link and start signing up for companies:

There are some decent companies to get started with. I would recommend Sinclair Consumer Metrics (that's who I started with), Stericycle, and Intelli-Shop. These mystery shopping companies (or MSCs as we refer to them), don't exactly pay the best or even the fastest, but they offer some easier assignments for newer mystery shoppers.

Arguing with fools is like playing chess with a pigeon...
...No matter how good you are, the pigeon will s@^t on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

Not scheduling for ANY company.
Start slow! Take on one job at a time. READ all of the Guidelines. Know what each company wants. Ask questions and of course read this forum. Every shopped is different. What one likes the other may not. Be organized. I keep a calendar next to my computer and mark personal days I can not shop. The rest is for mystery shopping. Don't get frustrated with the editors when you start. Ask what you did wrong! I believe the schedulers are willing to work with you. Remember mistakes you make in the beginning will only benefit you in the future. Always know what the shop is before you except it. Be yourself, honest and reliable.
