Finding Companies

I realize from the opening agreement that disclosing clients is not permitted, is there a way to find out what clients are with what companies?

I've signed up with a few companies and one or two do not have any shops that I am able to complete and was hoping to not have to continually go through the sign up process in vein!

Is there a reason you are looking for specific clients rather than assignments in general?

When I go to the msc's website or facebook or.... I often see them posting their clients.

It's actually best to go through the sign up process with as many companies as you have time to register with. The sign up process actually does not take that long. If you do not have a large block of time to register with many at once, try to do 2 or 3 a day. It will add up and soon you will be registered with 50-100. Many of us here are registered with 150-200 or more.

Once you are registered, you will be able to see a company's clients. One good reason to register with many is that the clients often move from one MSC to another - and if you are registered with a lot of them, you will not miss out of any shops when/if your favorite client moves to a new MSC. Also - sometimes a MSC does not immediately have shops in your area that you are interested in, but that does not mean that next week or next month, they will not get new clients that you are interested in shopping.
I'm looking for specific companies or stores that I use. I tend to use shopping more for the services or goods I would use anyway. For example I do the one jewelry shop a lot to help gets gifts for the wife.
Then Canuck's suggestion of Facebook and the MSCs websites is great. You also might try Googling the name of the business and mystery shopping.

Well the reasons that I am interested in being a Mystery Shoppers is because I trained employees on how to offer excellent customer services. I have a MA in administration, and now that i am retired, i want to get a position whereby my past positions and expetience would allow me to judge appropriately of what the expectation is of an analysis of the location that we are visiting. I should mentioned when I was the administrator of businesses, when my mistery customer reports would come to the Head Office, it stated "Clown Jacques he is the best you have"! Customers appraisal forms signed by customers leaving the premises generated tremendous reports. I have a binder of approximately 100 pages of letter of references, mystery customer report, and finally, positive customer evaluation card!I always believe as I do now, when i enter a store and/or place of business, I have the habit of scanning the environment, and observe details as I did when I was the administrator. To observe not only supplies on the shelves, the code date of products, and especially employees dealing with other customers. I have a habit od asking "How are you today" because many will say fine but never ask you "How I was"! At times I have call the supervisor, either to report a tremendous service provided by the employee, and/or to advise her that the service and the demeaner of the employee was not satisfactory. I wouls alway do it in a positive
approach and suggesting may be more appropriate alternatives! I know being a "Mystery Shopper" does not perform none of the above, but I mentioned it so that you know that I am very observant! I could also accept a position whereby I could train new "Mystery Shoppers" in a area around the Essex County Ontario. I can travel and my background in education and community involvements would be very instrumental of positively training a new member! I have designed very succesful "Educational Curriculum and performed 25 years of numerous educational or training programs! Thank you for your charismatic and benevolent regarding this most important request! Jacques O. Anctil

Welcome to the forum. Just so you know, this forum is made up of mystery shoppers. We come here to joke about our days and offer advice to new shoppers. You don't actually get hired by a company. As a mystery shopper you are an independent contractor running your own business and will have dozens of mystery shopping companies as your clients.
