Hi! I am new at this and am having a problem getting any shops in my area. Everything I recieve is abot 500 miles or further from me. How do you get set up in your own town or area?
A good start is to go to Jobslinger.com and see what companies are shopping your area. The sign up is free and it allows you to put in your zip code and the distance you are willing to travel. The jobs you see on Jobslinger are probably taken already but it will give you a good idea of companies who currently have clients in your area. Jobslinger is only a resource to help you find jobs in your area. It does not in and of itself do or schedule work.
