I know it's been said on here not to sign up with companies that charge fees to shop for them and I have not. But does that go for Jobslinger plus as well? There aren't a lot of opportunities in my area and it would be nice to be notified first. I don't have a smart phone so I check my email through out the day. Waiting your responses.

I think the Jobslinger posts are sometimes outdated. However, you can go on to Jobslinger and see which companies are doing shops in your area, and then apply with those companies directly. There should be an app for linking your email to you iphone - even my old dumbphone has that type of app available (though not free)
I don't think it's a lot of money to be out. I think ebit might be right though and their posts can be outdated. I think I would consider it in your situation.
Thanks. I don't have a cell phone with anything other than text and talk so I can't download anything. I'm so old school. I also don't follow twitter and facebook constantly like the younger generation.
oh sorry reading it quickly, thought you said you had a smartphone. well, when you sign up with each company, make sure you turn the setting to "on" for getting email notifications.
I like jobslinger plus. You get a month free to try. Definitely download jobdinger.
Try the free version and/or plus with a free month and then decide for yourself.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
You can also get shop notifier which is free and will notify you of the sassie ones (the same shops on jobslinger) but is usually quicker.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
