Requesting jobs in specific towns

I just picked up another National Audits job, this one stretches out over 5 weekend days.

I'd love to rack up some other jobs to do in between my head counts. Any advice on how to go about this? So far I've been e-mailing the schedulers that I've had contact with to see if they have anything, besides just browsing the job boards.

Would it be acceptable to post my request on the jobs available board?

If you post on a 'jobs available board' it is going to get removed because those boards are for schedulers to post available jobs. Meanwhile you are going to look like someone who can't follow instructions (or won't bother) as on virtually every forum there is a specific notice that the job board is for available jobs, not available shoppers.

Why don't you do a search on the shopper sites you signed up for. The option is search for shops outside of my area.
