At the bottom of this page click on the Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies. Apply to them one by one.

If you come across the name of another mystery shopping company by googling or whatever, use the search function on this forum to see what others have said about that company.

Scams tend to come out of the blue to your e-mail, or I had one by phone. They tend to ask you to deposit a large cheque, send some money by Western Union and keep the rest. Mystery shopping companies only contact people who signed up with them. Most shops pay 10 - 20 dollars.

There are plenty of companies listed below, the blue link at the bottom of the page, to sign up with.

Welcome, Misty. It's very time consuming initially to become a mystery shopper, because what you are doing is starting your own small business. Mystery shoppers work as independent contractors for mystery shopping companies. There's plenty of free information available here. Spend some time reading and develop your business plan for getting started.
One way to prepare, would be to read the thread you're posting in to see if your question has been asked and answered. Like, several times over in this case... being observant is a big part of mystery shopping! smiling smiley

I am new to mystery shopping - just starting signing up to some companies through the MSPA jobslinger site. I found this forum and have been reading through the New Mystery Shopper posts. I just wanted to say that it's amazing how much information is on here, and everyone is so helpful and forthcoming with all sorts of information and ideas.
