Legitimate Companies!

So, I'm fairly new to shopping and have been applying with new companies. The way I'm getting the company names is through JobSlinger.com, but I was wondering...do the companies that post assignments on JobSlinger.com have to be legitimate? I'm concerned that I will get wrapped up in a scam, so I thought I would ask the pro's

I don't know the answer to your question but I use the search function on this forum to see what other shoppers have said about each company before I sign up.

Are you also using the Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies at the bottom of this page?

Are you signed up with the mystery shopper magazine? They are reviewing companies each month to help us know which companies are legitimate.

I check the MSPA list of companies and also read the BBB reports, making sure I get the real company and not the scam companies copying the names. For the past few months, I've worked with BestMark, Inc. and it's been pretty cool. I don't know what kind of tasks you are looking for, but if you want to test drive cars and get free oil changes, check them out. apply.bestmark.com/?r=NY19511

Smadimou, your only two posts include a referral link to Bestmark. It is underhanded to attempt to make referral fees on forum members in such a manner. At the bottom right hand corner of your post is a button to edit your posts and remove the spam link.

My apologies. I just started shopping and so far they were the most consistent in offering assignments. If you can direct me to others who have regular assignments, I'd appreciate it. I signed up with several companies and most of them either have nothing in my area or just one or two. By all means, sign up without the link to the referral.

I also just joined this site and these were the only two things I had any input to give. I've read MANY posts however.

Your input is welcome even if Bestmark is your only company to date. Go to the New Mystery Shoppers area and read, read, read. Next step is to register with more companies. Some of us are with 150 to 200.

Has anybody heard of Market Force, are they legit?

Yes, and yes. Check the blue link at the bottom of the page, Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies, for legitimate companies to register with.
