payment?

Once you submit a shop, how long does it usually take before you get an email that your report was accepted and you will be paid. Thanks

There is no set time. It's different for all MSCs and sometimes it is different depending on which client you have shopped for. Some review very quickly and some do not. And many do not e-mail you to tell you your shop has been accepted. With some, you will only hear from them if they do not like your report or have questions, so in many cases, no news is good news.
It varies depending on the MSC. I've been paid in as little as 7 days and in as long as 2 months. Generally you will find the payment terms in the ICA [Independent Contractors Agreement].

What they said. If you want an answer, why don't you tell us which MSC?

I just started doing shops and I've completed shops for Shoppers Critique, Measure Consumer Perspectives, Second 2 None and Kinesis. Thanks
Every company is different, miket5567. The companies you mentioned do not send feedback unless they need more information or they are not happy with your report. If they are happy with the report, you will just get paid. Their payment terms can be found on their websites. I would say just relax and get used to the companies you work for. Every company is different and they operate in different ways and on different time scales. There is a lot of information in each company's ICA - you should read carefully before signing each one. If you have questions about a specific company, most have Frequently Asked Questions or training videos on their website. And once you have worked for a company a couple of times you will pick up the rhythm of the way they work.
Second to None has a place on their website where you can check the reports. Measure also has a place where it shows reports approved and pending payment. It never hurts to take a little time and look at all the various areas on a companies website to familiarize yourself with their methods.
