I'm currently doing my second shop ever and, like the first one, it's a hotel shop. The first hotel was sparkling clean and brand new. BUT...this second hotel is so filthy I can hardly bear to stay in that room, even for one night. Don't worry...I saw no evidence of bugs of any kind...thank goodness! But every surface is either stained or tattered of grimy. It's an extended-stay hotel, by the way.
The door frame appears to have ten years worth of grimy fingerprints on it. The sheets are stained, including a blood stain, and have holes torn in them. The carpet is so grimy, especially just inside the front door, that it must not have been shampooed in years and years.
The upholstered easy chair has spots on the arms that look like food or bodily fluids were just left to dry. I would feel more comfortable sleeping in my car than it that room. In fact, I just might do that. Don't worry, I will drive to the nearest Walmart and sleep there. Walmart allows RVers to sleep overnight, so how can they object to someone sleeping in a minivan?
I'll go ahead and complete the shop and give lots of un-opinionated detail in the feedback form. But I will not be at all comfortable touching anything in that room.
